Rosewood Residences had taken on its most ambitious project to date with the curation of the Rosewood Residences Old Lighthouse on the glorious southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula in Los Cabos. The result is its first 550-acre private estate with an abundance of amenities, curated by some of Mexico’s top creatives to provide ultra-luxury living and boundless adventure.

Cascading across the land that El Faro Viejo (meaning “The Old Lighthouse” in English) has guarded over since 1905 are 144 residences, each occupying between 4,000 to over 10,000 square feet on 0.7 acre plots. This forms the secluded, like-minded community that Rosewood and the Coppel family – the creators behind some of Mexico's leading hotel and resort companies – have pictured together.

These private residences have been specially designed with nature in mind by Guadalajara-based architects Gomez Vazquez International, alongside interior designers Studio Lifestyle. As a result, they compliment the breathtaking scenery of Los Cabos, with indoor and outdoor living spaces seamlessly combined to maximize the impact of the white sand beaches, towering cliffs and staggering ocean views.

While the expertly curated Los Cabos residences are showstoppers, Rosewood Residences Old Lighthouse raises the bar for luxury living even higher with the inclusion of an immense variety of amenities that friends and family can all enjoy. A great starting point for exploration is The Cliff House, designed by Mexico City-based architect Manuel Cervantes Céspedes and interior designer Bibiana Huber Diaz. It forms the heart of the community, with a five-star restaurant and private dining room, lively bar and an outdoor events facility so guests can indulge in everything the amazing Los Cabos surroundings have to offer.

Vice president of global residential development at Rosewood Hotel Group, Brad Berry, said: “Los Cabos is a special place where luxury seamlessly intertwines with nature, adventure, and leisure and we look forward to facilitating exceptional immersions and moments of discovery for our owners and their guests.”

For those looking for a relaxing escape, the Wellbeing Center hosts holistic therapies and treatments from experts in the field. Or unwind in the world-class spa at The Beach Club, amongst cabanas and pools, before having dinner at the beachfront.

Sports and activities are catered for at the Family Athletic Center with an abundance of fields and courts. A unique highlight of Rosewood Residences Old Lighthouse, however, is the exclusive Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, alongside a practice facility to hone your skills even further. Snorkeling, horseback riding, fishing and star-gazing are just some of the activities Los Cabos has to offer to its residents.
