Regent Hotels & Resorts is set to open a brand-new property steps from Santa Monica Pier on an idyllic stretch of the California coast overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

The brand’s latest outpost will feature 143 elegant guest rooms and 24 suites decorated in soothing shades of cream and gray. For a truly memorable stay, consider booking the Santa Monica Presidential Suite – a sprawling abode up on the eighth floor, equipped with a games room, separate living room and four Juliet balconies. Even the standard rooms start at 720 sq ft and boast lavish bathrooms complete with soaking tubs and rainfall showers.

Those looking to relax and unwind are in for a real treat; the resort offers guests a beach butler service, so you won’t need to lift a finger. When you’re not strolling along the coast, head to the property’s 10,000 sq ft Guerlain spa or have a drink out on the gorgeous beachfront pool deck.

Regent Santa Monica Beach’s signature restaurant, Orla, is also well worth a visit. Helmed by award-winning chef Michael Mina, the eatery will serve vibrant Mediterranean dishes. “Orla is an incredibly personal concept for me, taking inspiration from my childhood,” reveals Mina.

“The earthiness of the za-atar, the tang of citrus, and the intricate layers of a perfectly cooked piece of fish or charcoal-grilled meat all take me back to the captivating flavors I grew up with and enjoyed around the table with my family. With oceanfront views and the vibrant energy of the restaurant, guests will instantly be transported to the Mediterranean.”

The hotel has also partnered with celebrity entrepreneur and philanthropist Ayesha Curry to create a restaurant concept tied to her lifestyle brand, Sweet July. Here, guests will be able to enjoy a special menu inspired by Curry’s Jamaican roots.

“The addition of Regent Santa Monica Beach to the Santa Monica communities promises to deliver an unprecedented experience for travelers and locals alike,” commented Younes Atallah, general manager of the resort. “With a commitment to distinguished, bespoke service alongside an alluring oceanfront location, we are eager to share this incredibly special property with the world and welcome guests to indulge in a modern evolution of traditional luxury.”
